Do You Know What a Boiler Is?
No one ever says the word "boiler" anymore because they have so many things to do these days that it sounds like an oxymoron. However, there is a small flame inside a heating system known as a boiler. This flame is what heats up water before it enters the system. A furnace or boiler furnace consists of a boiler tank, hot water tank and a small hot water tank. The small hot water tank has enough hot water to power the entire system. The boiler is the one that holds all of the hot water in the tank. The tank holds the water until it is needed. When a small amount of water is heated, it goes to the water heater which is located underneath the house. The water heater draws the water back into the boiler where it is heated again. Once the water is heated, it goes to the water tank. After the water is heated, it goes through the filters to remove any debris and then it goes to the hot water heater.
