The Concept of Cinema
We are all familiar with the term cinema. It is commonly used to refer to any kind of motion picture display and recording made by means of film, either of video or still photography. The industry is now global, with large format projectors and televisions regularly being used to exhibit events and other forms of entertainment. Not only are cinema a generic term that identifies any kind of display, but it is also used in a colloquial way to identify one's personal likes and preferences.
CINEMA / (ko-NE-tse) is an East German term used in English to describe an exhibition, musical, or artistic performance, usually showcasing original works from local or abroad artists. An example would be an international film festival, which would normally be known as a "Cinema" event. The term CINEMA has also been used recently in the United States to describe online interactive movie sites, such as those that are available from Netflix, Yahoo! Movies, and others. In Japan, the term for theatrical play and motion pictures is referred to as "Kantar", which can also be translated into "play" or "manga".
A movie theater is the term used to describe a building designed and built for the purpose of displaying motion picture films and other forms of entertainment. These types of structures have been in existence for over one thousand years. The first cinema was built at the Alhambra in Spain, and while the technology has greatly advanced since then, the basic construction of a classic cinema hall still exists and is able to be visited by people from all over the world.
Cinema offers an unprecedented combination of visual effects, dramatic music, and highly trained actors and actresses that create an unparalleled theatrical experience for its viewers. The technological aspects of seeing a film in a cinema are also advanced, with screen projectors that are capable of producing a true colour image across the entire room. As well, the seats are designed in such a way that they provide the best possible viewing experience for movie goers. The panning, zoom, and other special effects used in modern cinema are simply not available in a movie house and cannot be duplicated in a single cinema house. Cinema offers an unmatched combination of the physical and digital elements that create a true cinema-like experience for its audiences.
Moving images are the key to the success of any film, and cinema offers the most realistic moving images in the world. There are two kinds of cinema - the conventional one and the special-effects cinema. The conventional kind of cinema includes the classic three-dimensional (3D) projection system and many of the effects that you have seen in movies such as Star Wars and Star trek. The special-effects cinema attempts to replicate the special effects used in these movies, but in an integrated fashion. Most of the movies shot on location in real locations use some kind of digital photography to create a moving image.
The concept of cinema is becoming more vague, but it is hard to envision the difference between the internet, the television, and cinema anymore. The reason is that all three deliver moving image, and all three have changed the way people watch movies. The popularity of streaming video services and internet video has made the transition easier between conventional movie watching and a real-time movie theater experience. In fact, the biggest impact on the movie industry has come from the internet, and this has created many new types of movie-watching experiences.
