cinema: An Art Form
Ever since the birth of cinema, there have been attempts to make movies that are more realistic and dramatic. The results of such attempts have led to some of today's greatest movies. But is cinema inherently dishonest? Is cinema itself a form of manipulation?
Well, both the critics and the public are beginning to realize that cinema is not necessarily a manipulative art. It is true that there have been many movies and films that have been dishonest in one way or another. To cite one example, Citizen Kane may very well have had some extra footage cut from the movie to give the audience an idea as to what the plot was all about, yet no one in the cinema would have ever guessed that it was intentionally done. On the other hand, several movies in the 1930s such as The Great Depression had actual social messages but were deemed by their makers to be quite truthful. These movies did not make money at the box office but they still have a huge amount of cult appeal.
Thus, cinema is not necessarily corrupt. Instead, it is a medium through which a filmmaker can entertain. However, there are films where the intentions of the filmmaker are blatantly apparent. Take movies like Walt Disney for example. The Disney movies have always been Disney movies in the eyes of many, and whereas some people may criticize the Disney characters for being overly commercial, there are others who simply refuse to admit that Disney films are essentially dishonest.
When a filmmaker wants to create an illusion within the cinema, they often use the technique of moving pictures. These types of films create an optical illusion where objects appear as though they have moved in slow-motion when, in reality, they are stationary. A good example of this type of cinema is the film King Kong.
Moving pictures in cinema have also become more popular in recent years due to the advent of online streaming technology. In streaming a movie, the director simply has to stream the movie to a website, which will then show the movie to the audience using a computer program. This is referred to as streaming and it is now widely used in the cinema. Another popular type of streaming in cinema is sound. Sound in cinema is generated by digital noise such as wind blowing or explosions.
Overall, cinema communicates messages in a unique way. It tells a story through a plot and a character's behavior. Cinema can be thought of as a form of art form, since it attempts to communicate a message in a unique manner. This unique communication method in cinema has led to its everlasting popularity. It is likely that cinema will continue to exist for decades to come, as long as people continue to desire a quality movie experience. As long as people continue to enjoy the cinema experience, cinema will continue to grow and develop into a truly artistic form.
