Thus, cinema is not necessarily corrupt. Instead, it is a medium through which a filmmaker can entertain. However, there are films where the intentions of the filmmaker are blatantly apparent. Take movies like Walt Disney for example. The Disney movies have always been Disney movies in the eyes of many, and whereas some people may criticize the Disney characters for being overly commercial, there are others who simply refuse to admit that Disney films are essentially dishonest.

When a filmmaker wants to create an illusion within the cinema, they often use the technique of moving pictures. These types of films create an optical illusion where objects appear as though they have moved in slow-motion when, in reality, they are stationary.
