Some roofers are specialized in installing roofs on buildings that are sensitive to harsh weather conditions, such as steel buildings and hospitals.

Roofers perform different types of roofing jobs. For example, a roofer can perform roof repair and patching. A roofer can also perform roof painting and roof sealing. Some roofers are also adept at roof ventilation and roof venting. They are usually responsible for installing the roof deck and sealants on the ground and top surfaces of the house.
